After remote starting and insurting key in to ignition and turning when I push on the brake pedal engine shuts off.

After remote starting vehicle after I insert the key into ignition and turn to run pushing the brake pedal shuts off the engine and I have to use the key to restart the vehicle. Is there something I need to change on the program?
