Does the evo all enable remote start options in my DIC?

Hello, I just installed the evo all guide 68911 Does this unlock the remote start options in the cluster? I see the guide says that the evo all supports heated seats but I do not see how to enable them. Also, how do I shut the car off after I remote start it? I remote started it to test, put my key in, turned the car to on/run, and then off, a couple seconds later it started itself again without me doing anything...
