Will it unlock/lock if I use a smartphone add on?

Eco-chrt4 on a 2011 grand caravan. If I use a smartphone add on module will I be able to lock/unlock the vehicle using the app? Asking since I noticed that it's only connect to can-low can-high through the ignition using the T-harness

Phone app addon inop, wont start the car. Only key fob

Bought the add on feat. Gps from mpc installed and shows location and battery voltage but will not operate the start or lock feats.

Communication between phone and system

What would cause thhe evo start 2 not to send back confirmation of starting vehicle? If im beside it sometimes it will... but more then 100 feet and its not responding back... (it starts but does not let me know it has started) and when it starts if i dont get confirmation i also get no info such as tach or battery or engine running
