option 12 on EVO-ALL for VW

Hey guys, I'm trying to update our database and weeding out the cars that "absolutely" need an OEM key wrapped to disarm the OEM alarm upon unlocking. We only use the EVO-ALL to control locks and alarm. We do not need it for remote start... Can you please tell me which cars MUST use a key wrapped to disarm the OEM alarm when we send an unlock pulse from our device? I just read a revision (http://ifar.ca/download/11981/evo-all_volkswagen.rev-20131025.pdf) which states to enable option 12 in the menu for the EVO-all to disarm for remote start. Will this work in lieu of wrapping a key as the old diagram asked for cars such as the Passat, Jetta, etc?
