i need the clutch bypass wire for 2014 GTI

0 votes
I have hooked up evo one and all is working if I hold in the clutch in for remote start

the wire A8  in guide 28891 ( GTI 2014, standard key, 6 speed) is not working and i do have the diode in place

i also tried the bcm tan plug wire location 30 and that did not work

also tried pin location 17 tan plug bcm black red , did not work

is the bcm putting out the ground or is the A8 evo one putting out the ground?  I have the diode the way pictured in the install guide28891

need a little help

The module is outputting ground to the clutch switch. Ground is what triggers the clutch bypass.

There is a better description of where to find the clutch wire in this guide: https://cdn.fortin.ca/download/61401/evo-one_ig_reg_bi_vol_gti_2011-2014_key_tb_d_61401.pdf

A5, A6, or A8 can be used to trigger the clutch wire.
