2008 4Runner Evo One RF Remote/Antenna not working

0 votes
I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner with an EVO One and RF642W remote.  The unit is programmed for use with the RF antenna however its not communicating with the remote.  The antenna only blinks one blue light when it is plugged into the evo one.  Other than that I get nothing when I am trying to program remotes etc.  Also, after I program the evo one, the red led light stays illuminated after it blinks when I insert the key into the ignition.

What happen when trying to program the remote ?

When entering programming mode 5 and hitting the brake, the led in the antenna should flash rapidly, do you get to this step ?

I tried to do this and there is no flash on the antenna.
Verify your brake connection, if the module does not see the brake press it will not enter remote programming.
I'm having the same issue.  Programming says to turn key, turn key off, turn key on, then pump brakes 5 times... LED never flashes or does anything other than when i initially plug it in it flashes a blue LED once.  Are you required to have the valet button to program it?  does the key on off not work?

Also, are any other wires required to be installed (other than those in the specific 4runner and T-harness installation) for programming to work?
