Still getting DTC U0338:00 after installing Evo One.

0 votes

I don't like seeing DTC codes as you can tell, and I don't think it's normal to see them ...

This is the description of the fault:

  • CAN communication line malfunction between start stop unit and PCM

  • Start stop unit internal malfunction

I'm getting my PCM updated in a couple of days at a Mazda dealer,
can a Fortin enginner verify that this is normal and won't affect the procedure?

Will this issue be corrected with an Evo One firmware update, or
is there some technical issue making this not possible to fix?

This is normal behavior and won't interfere with your PCM update.
