Fortin INT-SL+ will not go into program mode

I’m installing a Cool Start RS4-G5 along with a Fortin INT-SL+ Data interface module onto a 06 GMC Yukon XL Denali. When I hook up the module the light comes on and it blinks when I hit lock on the key fob but when I turn key to on the light goes off. I tried to start the vehicle with the remote and the vehicle started but shut off right away. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. -Brandon
