will evo one not work on 07 dodge dakota with 1 key?

i cant seem to get it to work on my 07 dodge dakota. the instructions are not real clear on programming but the remote start will turn the ignition on but wont engage the starter. i can turn the truck on with the key and take the key out and it will continue to run until i turn it off with remote start. when i turn the key to ignition the yellow light on the evo chrt5 comes on and stays on untill truck is turned off. any help is appreciated.

arm disarm wires

at Evo All connection B A2 and A3 want's in (-) wire but from my standalone remote starter I have (+) signal. Do I need to connect those arm and disarm wires? thank you
