EVO-ALL or EVO-ONE

I am preparing to do a remote start installation on a 2018 Infiniti Q60 (3.0L). The remote start module (with T-Harness) will be paired with the RFK-942 RF kit. I've installed the EVO-ALL on a 2016 Q50 and a 2017 Q60 (both 3.0L, both with T-Harness and both with RFK-942) and they are functioning well. My question to you is what would be the benefit of choosing the EVO-ONE over the EVO-ALL? For example, would I gain any additional functions (such as, trunk release via RFK-942 remote, parking lights control, etc.) if I went with the EVO-ONE instead of the EVO-ALL?

RFK942 Remote LED

When I start my G37S which uses the RF642W remote, the RF642W remote's green LED flashes once every six seconds when the car has been started remotely. On my Q50, which has the RFK942, when the car has been started remotely the LED of the RFK942 remote flashes once every 10 seconds. My question is, is there is a way to change how often the LED on the RFK942 remote flashes? This trivial and certainly no "deal breaker" since I do preferrer the RFK942. I was just wondering.

RFK5000 Support

Will there be support for the Omega RFK5000 on the EVO-ALL?

RF-ALL ASCL6

I hve a 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe that has an EVO All with T-Harness. Currently I have the EVO-ALL 642W installed for my RF Kit. I know that I cannot run the RF kit together with the ASCL6. My question is what wire changes (if any) do I have to make to the EVO-ALL harness in order to run ASCL6?

Add ASCL6 with RFK942

I've installed the EVO ALL with T-Harness (EVO NIST4) and the RFK942 RF kit to my 2016 Infiniti Q50 (3.0T). All works well. I am considering adding the Car Link ASCL6 system to my car. My question is can I use the RFK942 together with the Car Link or will I have to choose between one or the other If I can use both, will I need something added to the existing T-Harness (EVO NIST4) in order to connect them both (such as RFA2A)? Thank you in advance for your help.

Alarm setting off

I installed the EVO ONE without T-Harness and RFK411 on a 2014 Scion XD (with standard key). Sometimes after remore start, when the door is opened the alarm is set off and the remote start is halted. Option D2 was inititially turned off.  I turned it on and though it improved quite a bit, it still happens every now and then.  The system is wired and configured per Guide # 102241.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Q50 parking lights

The parking lights are not turning on and option A14 (Parking Light Control) is ON. I have used the Stand Alone installation with T-Harness (NIST4) guide 75841 (REV 20211130). All other functions appear to be functioning properly. Is there a solution to this problem. Thank you.

NIST4 Harness

Is it necessary to cut the 15 pin white connector that contains the red and black wires (power and ground) on the NIST4 harness for the 2016 Infiniti Q50 3.0 as shown on Guide #75841?

Q50 AC not working

To whom it may concern: I installed the Fortin Evo All (with the RF942) on my 2016 Infiniti Q50. When I remote start, the AC (or heater) will not turn on until I press the Push-to -Start button on the car. I had the same installation on my 2017 Q60 and did not have any problem running the AC. I know that this questions has been previously asked. I was wondering if the issue hs been resolved. Thank you.

RFK942 not working after disconnecting and reconnecting the car battery

After getting the RFK942 working I did some maintenance on the car. I disconnected the battery to perform the maintenance required and after reconnecting the battery I attempted to lock the doors with the RFK942 remote. The remote sent the signal but doors did not lock (LED turned red). I thought that perhaps the antenna needed to be reprogrammed so I attempted to perform the programming procedure again. The antenna would not program (no blue LED) so I connected it to the Flashlink Manager to see if something had been turned off. The Flashlink Manager did not recognized that the antenna was connected. From this I am gathering that the antenna was damaged when I reconnected the car battery. Is this possible? If so, what can I do to prevent this from happening again? Would a different RF kit work better (for example the RF642W)?

Adding the 7756V Remote

I undertand that if I wanted to use the Directed 7756V remote I will need to add the XL XL202 RF to Data converter to my EVO ALL.  My question is which antenna will I need to purchase in order for the 7756V remote to work.

Key fob cover

This is just a general (and perhaps silly) question concerning the RFK942 and RF642W key fobs. I am looking for a means to protect my key fobs. I have my vehicle key fobs protected with silicone covers. Is there something available for the RFK942 and/or the RF642W?

Q40 Parking lights turn on intermittently on remote start

I have the EVO-ALL with the T-harness installed on my Infiniti Q40 and G37S Coupe. The options are set identically. On the G37, when I remote start, my parking lights always turn on when I remote start the car. This is not always true on my Q40. More times than not, the parking lights do not come on at all. Option A14 is currently off on both vehicles. I tried turning this option on on the Q40 but there is no change on how (when) it works. The only real difference between the two is the type of RF kit I have installed. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Edit: Lights come on every time I remote start the car in the garage. Not when I start it outside the garage and it's sunny and bright. Lights switch is set to off for each of the tests.

EVO ONE does not see RFK942

Good day to you. I am having problems programming the RFK942 to the EVO ONE (installed in my 2010 Acura TL with Push-to-Start). When I connected the antenna to the module (using only the antenna cable the RF kit came with) the blue LED on the RF antenna never turned on. After several attempts, I decided to remove the EVO ONE and connect it to my computer (running Windows 10) using the Flashlink Updater (running the latest firmware). The Flashlink Updater could not detect the EVO ONE (and the EVO ONE LEDs never illuminated). I thought that perhaps the Flashlink Updater was inoperative but when I connected an EVO ALL and two RFK942s to the Updater, I discovered that the Updater is functioning properly. I just programmed the EVO ONE a week ago and had no issues then. In fact, the module remote starts the vehicle (Lock 3x on OEM key fob). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RF Kit Acura TL

I am installin the RFK942 to my 2010 Acura TL.  Will there be any additional wires that will need to be connected at or to my EVO ONE (besides the cable from the antenna)?  Are there any features that need to be turned on on the Flashlink Updater and if so, where will they be found?  Thank you.

Check Keyless Message

The installation and programming of the EVO ONE on the 2010 Acura TL (Push to Start) went well. I am able to start the vehicle, and, as expected, the engine shuts off when the door is opened (which is a bummer). My question concerns a message on the instrument panel. When I remote start the vehicle the "Check Keyless Starting System" (with an amber key with an exclamation point) is displayed. Is this normal? My second question iis about adding an RF kit. Will the RFK942 RF kit work with the EVO ONE on this car? Thank you in advance for your help.

2017 Q60 3.0T

Firtsly, is there a solution for my Infiniti Q60 Red Sport (3.0T)?  Wouldn't the EVO All or EVO One with the T-Harness that works on the 2017 Q50 3.0 with Push-to Start work with my car?

If the answer to the question is yes, then here are a few more questions.

My Q60 has factory remote start.  The remote has the remote start button.  Would I use the remote start button or would I still have to press the lock button 3 times? Would I be able to add an RF Kit?

2010 Acura TL Push Start Evo One will not program

While installing the EVO One to my 2010 Acura TL (with Push-to-Start) I found that several of the wire colors called out by the installation (REV:20191022, Guide 19411) and the Wire Color guide did not match what the car has (on gray 32 pin connector and blue 36 pin connector).  I proceeded by connecting at the specified locations shown on the diagram.  Once the connections were completed, I attempted to program the module (which was updated and programmed with the Flash Link Updater).  Step 1-4 went OK, however, when I got to step 5 (Do not press the brake pedal.  Press the Push-to- Start button twice to turn on the ignition--  The RED LED will flash rapidly 10x times. -- Key bypass programmed. --The BLUE LED will flash rapidly. --CAN-Bus programmed.), the red LED extinguished and I could not complete the programming.  I tried this several time with the same results.  Your help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

G37 programming module

I'm trying to install an EVO-ALL remote start on my g37. Already tapped into the push-to-start button and made the T-Harness connections with the OBDII, keyport, and brake switch. Tried programming the module but when I inserted my key fob into the key port, the dash is saying to remove the key. Closed the door, that got rid of the light, but while I was going through the programming steps, I can't get pass step 4. I press the PTS button to turn car to ACC mode, but module does not flash red or blue. IT only stays solid yellow. I've already flashed the module with the flashlink 4. & i'm pretty sure the connection between the ignition and PTS wire is good. Idk what do. any help?

Constant unlock

I have installed the EVO ALL (with the T harness) on both, my 2008 G37S Coupe and my 2015 Q40. Both have the same intermittent issue. For example, today on my G37S I unlocked my trunk (by pressing the entry button on the trunk) while the car was running after a remote start and all my door unlocked. This was followed by endless unlocking signal sent to my doors which could only be stopped when I hit the unlock button on my key fob twice. I have had this happen on my Q40 as well. Both EVO ALL modules are programmed identically so I am guessing there is something wrong with one of mys settings. Also, both have been updated to the latest firmware. Thanks in advace for your help.

can telematics and rf kits be use at the same time on the evo-one?

the 2 blue antennae plugs on the evo-one are not the same size plugs. both connecting plugs on the My Car unit and the RF642W unit are the same and will only plug into the smaller dark blue plug on the evo-one. i bought the evo-one unit because i seen videos saying that i can use both. Is this no longer the case?
