RFK942 not working after disconnecting and reconnecting the car battery

After getting the RFK942 working I did some maintenance on the car. I disconnected the battery to perform the maintenance required and after reconnecting the battery I attempted to lock the doors with the RFK942 remote. The remote sent the signal but doors did not lock (LED turned red). I thought that perhaps the antenna needed to be reprogrammed so I attempted to perform the programming procedure again. The antenna would not program (no blue LED) so I connected it to the Flashlink Manager to see if something had been turned off. The Flashlink Manager did not recognized that the antenna was connected. From this I am gathering that the antenna was damaged when I reconnected the car battery. Is this possible? If so, what can I do to prevent this from happening again? Would a different RF kit work better (for example the RF642W)?

EVO ONE does not see RFK942

Good day to you. I am having problems programming the RFK942 to the EVO ONE (installed in my 2010 Acura TL with Push-to-Start). When I connected the antenna to the module (using only the antenna cable the RF kit came with) the blue LED on the RF antenna never turned on. After several attempts, I decided to remove the EVO ONE and connect it to my computer (running Windows 10) using the Flashlink Updater (running the latest firmware). The Flashlink Updater could not detect the EVO ONE (and the EVO ONE LEDs never illuminated). I thought that perhaps the Flashlink Updater was inoperative but when I connected an EVO ALL and two RFK942s to the Updater, I discovered that the Updater is functioning properly. I just programmed the EVO ONE a week ago and had no issues then. In fact, the module remote starts the vehicle (Lock 3x on OEM key fob). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RF Kit Acura TL

I am installin the RFK942 to my 2010 Acura TL.  Will there be any additional wires that will need to be connected at or to my EVO ONE (besides the cable from the antenna)?  Are there any features that need to be turned on on the Flashlink Updater and if so, where will they be found?  Thank you.

Check Keyless Message

The installation and programming of the EVO ONE on the 2010 Acura TL (Push to Start) went well. I am able to start the vehicle, and, as expected, the engine shuts off when the door is opened (which is a bummer). My question concerns a message on the instrument panel. When I remote start the vehicle the "Check Keyless Starting System" (with an amber key with an exclamation point) is displayed. Is this normal? My second question iis about adding an RF kit. Will the RFK942 RF kit work with the EVO ONE on this car? Thank you in advance for your help.

2010 TL PTS Error Message

I have installed the EVO-ALL unit with a Prestige APS-57E in a 2010 TL Push-To-Start car. The system works perfectly fine, however upon remote starting the vehicle an error message stating "Service Keyless Starting System" is displayed. I was certain this was to just be ignored, as the starter shuts down when the door is opened, and upon restarting the message no longer displays. However my customer returned, showing that this message now displays even after this restart. The message does not display, however, if the starter is not used to start the vehicle first. I am certain the car is merely confused and there is nothing wrong with it. Is there some kind of change that needs to be made to eliminate this message?

evo one doesnt seem to be putting out voltage when remote starting

I followed all the instructions provided in the service manual and the blue led flashes when I hit the lock button on the factory fob and when I hit lock 3x the red and amber led turn on but none of the lights on the dash come on and the car doesnt crank. Also a side point I noticed that the tech sheets from fortin and the wire color website dont match up all the same wires.

Honda-SL3 not programming and remote start only works with key in ignition

I installed a Excliber (Omega) remote start on a 2005 Acura TL (base). When installing the Honda-SL3 according to instructions, the LED light on bypass never flashed to indicate programming. The engine will crank using remote start but it won't run and "Immobilizer" light flashes on drivers information screen. I have called Tech Support twice and was told to: 1. "ground the blue data wire" 2. "confirm Version 4.03 or higher" 3. "ensure yellow wire is reading 12V when key is in ON position" All of these things did not solve the problem. I have checked ignition harness connections twice (used Configuration Type 1) and they all check out. If the wiring was not correct on the first attempt to program the bypass module, would this cause it to not program when the wiring connections were corrected on any later attempts? I am losing patience with this situation. Please help with this issue. Sincerely, S. Duffy
