2010 ford escape KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL

I'm installling the KEY-OVERRIDE-ALL with a DEI remote start. When I attempted to program prior, I would see the LED start flashing, but programming didn't complete. Now when I attempt to program, the LED on the module stays on and the security light on the dash flashes rapidly. I've confirmed I have 12V on Red, Ground on Black, Ignition on Yellow, and remote start staus on Blue. Is there anything else i should try on this module? The module was purchased new in December and hasn't been installed in another vehicle.

2011 Ford Escape red light stays on during programming - SOLVED

Vehicle: 2011 Ford Escape

Evo All #001A07260304 installed with T-harness THAR-FORD4; plug-n-play install, teed connections to ignition switch, immobilizer antenna and OBDII connector; no wires spliced

Can't get the unit to program.  Process: Hold program button, plug in data cable and release on red light.  Insert key and turn on until theft light turns out.  Remove first key and insert second.  Turn on for 3 seconds, theft light goes out, turn off and remove.  Last step says to press and release programming button within 5 seconds (this is where it gets stuck).  Red light should flash 10 times and blue light should flash 10 times and ignition comes on and turns off again.  When I press the button the last time, the red light blinks and just stays on.

I've tried the firmware downgrade listed in https://fortin.ca/en/qa/92073/faq-red-led-stuck-on .  That link says to downgrade to v 0.99 but the lowest version for Ford appears to be 4.01.  I flashed 4.01, power cycled in vehicle, reflashed v 71.52, unlocked settings and reset the unit.  Still same results.

I've also tried testing the data bus.  Hold button, insert data link connector, release button on blue light.  Connected all other connections and turned key on.  Blue light stays solid.  Shouldn't it flash on data?

The yellow wire is not connected as it seems to be part of the T harness, but I've tested it for 12v on ignition and it is getting it.  I don't have the valet switch or hood pin switch connected.  What am I missing?  I'm wearing out the plugs with all these connections/disconnections.

The programming led stays red when the evo one is installed in the car

Okay, so, I have 2 problems, first things first, I had an evo one installed before in my car and I had the manual transmission mode activate before, I broke that evo one, so I ordered a new one. I got around to installing it, now I can't get the manual transmission ready mode to activate. Second, on my first evo one, the red programming led beside the button was never on, on my previous evo one when it was installed. On this evo one, the red programming led light stays solid when everything is plugged in and the car is on.

FAQ: RED LED STUCK ON

When a module is stuck on the RED LED.

flash version 0.99 disconnect unit from the flasher and power cycle it in the car (connect/disconnect power connector) connect module back to the flash link and flash whatever firmware you need Turn settings protection OFF if it's on and SAVE the options. Reset the unit following the reset procedure. (this cannot be done while module is connected to the flash link) : https://fortin.ca/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193 Connect module back to the flash link and enable required options. Reprogram module to the vehicle following instructions in the installation guide.

Reasons this happened.

Unit was connected WHILE doing the install. Unit was disconnected during CAN programming before the blue led started to flash. Power was disconnected while all other connectors were still connected.  during an update or save of options, the flash link lost connection to the module or the internet RF protocols not setup correctly, or RF device not paired to unit correctly. Datalink protocols not setup correctly. Bad ground. Loss of power during writing of data to the module.

Does the Red led always need to come on 2020 Silverado 1500, Evo-one?

Hello, thanks for looking at my question. I am using an Evo one, with A GM 7 T harness in a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 Everything has gone pretty well I installed the T harness, attached both unlock leads to the gray BCM plug, and the tailgate/trunk lead to the pink BCM plug, double checked pins, and that looks good. The Evo1 lights up like it is supposed to, except after the step where I hit the program button 5 times under the yellow LED and turn to run, the RED Solid never comes on the first try. After failing 3 times, I expiremented and turned the key a few tries until it eventually turned red. The steps resumed as expected I got the rapid flashing blue lights at on postion, went inside to windows computer and used the Dcrypter to record the key. that went well, no errors or issues with the fortin software. The problem is that the remote start does not work. Tried both the lockx3 and the lock+tailgate and it does not work to start car. Since the key flashed properly, and the LEDs resumed normally, is that red led lighting after the original 5 program button taps the issue, or are the 7 loose wires needing to be connected to something two greens, one blue, black, orange, orange and black wire. I followed the wiring diagram, these 7 loose wires I find unnerving, was it inferred what to do with these wires as a profession because I am DIY and might need just a little more of an explanation.

EVO-ALL red light stays on during Step 2

Installing EVO-ALL into 2016 Passat using Stand Alone installation. Using Flash-Link Updater with Firmware Ver. 4.05, and have upgraded EVO to Firmware Ver. 75.38 (recommended). On Step #2 of decryptor programming procedure, I press and hold the progamming button while connecting the 4-pin datalink harness and wait for a blue light to appear... I only get a red light. I cannot advance in the procedure beyond this point. Re-flashing the EVO Firmware to Ver. 75.36 (older) did not change the result. I've reviewed several other similar posts, however, none of these seem to answer this problem at this early point in the process. Thank you

07 ES350 Wont Program - light stays solid red after final step

Installing an EVO One on an 07 Lexus ES350 per the regular installation with takeover instructions. I have all of the wires installed correctly with good taped up connections. However, when I go to program in the final step, the light blinks red (appears to be about 15 times and not 10), then stays solid red. I have checked the ignition connection several times and it is solid. Prior to installing this model, I had an EVO All installed with this same ignition wire and it was working fine. The only reason I wanted to swap models was for the take-over capability. Any ideas?

2010 Fusion. Getting solid RED LED but no yellow LED when in on position.

to start off im not really a car guy but this seemed pretty easy but anyways i just went to install the EVO-FORT1 into my 2010 Ford Fusion Sport and i put the data pin in and get the solid blue LED then go back and plug the red plug in and get the solid red LED. after all of that i go to put the key into the on postion but it stays solid red. i am asummng that it has something to do with the other plugs that has all the wires on the end?
