Getting brake on error with evo all and compustar cm900.

I installed a compustar cm920 with a Evo all using datalink cable on a 2019 kia Sorrento key start vehicle and it will work fine but randomly not start using remote start and I get an error code from the parking lights saying foot brake on. This is strange because it's all thru data and it will only happen once every 10 times or so. I have a options A1-A11, C1, F2 on. The vehicle does NOT have an immobilizer. Programmed using just the blue light for CAN and programming went fine. Not sure what would cause this.

EVO-START2 - is the ignition wire not needed in some cases?

I setup an EVO-START2 with an iDataStart HCX in a 2016 Kia Sorento (push-start) but since there's a T-harness the only manual connection required for the entire install is from the EVO-START2 (yellow igition wire). The T-Harness doesn't connect to an igition wire in the vehicle, so I can't just run the EVO-START2 yellow ignition wire to the HCX or T-harness. Instead I have to connect the yellow ignition wire to a longer wire that can reach the driver kick panel, and tap a connector there. I tried setting up the EVO-START2 without the yellow ignition wire and could not get validation (purple LED flashing) to happen, which didn't surprise me too much. I temporarily connected the yellow igition wire by pushing it into the back of the relevant pin/connector in the driver kick panel. This got me past validation and everything worked. To finish the install I needed a longer wire, so I left the vehicle to find a wire and to show my wife the app. We started and stopped the vehicle, locked/unlocked doors, etc. It all worked (we could hear the vehicle from within the house and the app confirmed every command). To my surprise, when I got back to the vehicle, the yellow wire had fallen out of the connector it was temporarily pushed into. This caused me to wonder if it was disconnected the whole time I was away, and so I tested functionality without it. Everything seems to work without that wire (except for the one-time validation step). As a secondary test I tried starting the vehicle using OEM fob and watching to see if the app reported that the vehicle was on. It did and showed the countdown timer and temperature etc. I can't find anything not working. So this leads me to the question in the title - do I actually need this wire? Everything presumably is working through data without it. If I don't connect it then I have a 100% plug-and-play installation, which is ideal.

EVO ALL CAN Bus confusion

Good evening, I am wiring up an EVO All with a Viper 4706V on a 2015 KIA Sorento. I am confused on the CAN1 and CAN 2 locations. According to guide 10841, CAN1 is located on the back of the fuse box, and CAN2 is located on the ODB-II connector. Yet, WIRECOLOR.com shows the opposite. And looking at the standard pinouts for ODB-II, it just shows can bus high and low on the ODB-II, no 1 or 2 spec. Anybody out there do one of these installs? Not sure which doc to trust here... Thanks, Jim

2009 Kia Sedona doorlocks

2009 Sedona install was done mid december 2015 - Autostart with Evo-all, initially used 76.22 programmed fine but no door lock control, tried 76.21 and 76.20 still no door locks, called tech support, they suggested trying 76.10; Program 76.10 doorlocks work, needed to set double pulse unlock on the autostart to have passenger door unlock(76.10 doesnt have the option of double pulse unlock) Customer calls me back the other day and the following is occuring: when the vehicle is running under remote start all doors will unlock with one press, however when the vehicle is off hitting unlock will unlock all doors except the drivers door, if you hit unlock a second time then the drivers door will unlock. Any thoughts?

driver door will not lock after remote start

2013 Kia Sorento LX pushbutton start, evo all hardware 6, firmware 4.18, remote starter brain compustar cm800. Reference used for installation ... evo-all_kia_sorento_-_push-to-start_(2011-2013).rev-20140626.pdf from this site. Installation appears to be functioning ... doors will lock and unlock via remote starter remote. I have the remote starter set to unlock before start, lock after start ... if the doors aren't unlocked before start, the OEM security system complains (horn honks... and honks). The doors unlock, the vehicle starts successfully, but when the remote starter attempts to lock the doors after start, all doors EXCEPT the drivers door lock... I can see the lever flip to lock on the drivers door, but then it immediately flips back to open again. Would this have something to do with the A10 pin hookup on the evo all? ... the reference says it goes to the "driver door pin" ... but the illustration looks contradictory ... the expolded view of connector #4 on the vehicle shows a different pin location than the unexploded one. Maybe I have the wrong pin there? What is that supposed to do and how can I test if I have the right one selected? Any help would be appreciated. I can't use it this way. Cheers.

Car starter parking lights + ... where do I hook that up?

2013 Kia Sorento with Push Start. Hi, the car starter I'm using with the Evo-ALL is a Compustar CM800. It has a parking light output (+) that is meant to flash the park lights when programming via the remotes or turn them on when the car is remote started. The wiring diagram provided on your site doesn't say what to do with this output from the car starter ... should it go into the EVO-All so the EVO can handle turning the park lights on and off, or should it be wired directly into the Kia ... if so can you tell me where the right wire is? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Fortin Evo-ALL + Kia Sorento 2012, regular key - Help!

    Hello.

I bought Fortin EVO- All on eBay. Servi?e # 001A06 283452, hardware vr. 6 , firmware vr. 4.18.   I programmed Fortin through the blue LED ( without connection to DATA). Programming is carried out , but when the ignition blue LED stops flashing once. Then I connected the blue wire (GWR) to earth ( -) , but the blue LED lights up half a second , then goes off and red LED lights, inside the relay clicks . The module does not work. Then I plugged the data wire . I tried to program Fortin via yellow LED . Programming does not work at all - when the ignition ( second step ) yellow LED lights up and nothing happens . In the correct connection of the module I'm sure. I performed a master reset - this has not produced results . I stopped . Help me, please .
