Shut down on Idle Mode

As I'm working on an installation that's still giving me problems, I have a new question which may solve my others problems. Using an evo-one, programmed and setup as tachless, upon trying to use Idle Mode, the car turns off after about 5 seconds after turning the ignition off and I get 4 flashes meaning no tach signal. What could cause this during Idle Mode?

EVO-ONE Activates, but no Crank

Installing an EVO-ONE on a 2006 Toyota Solara, Automatic. Unit settings are as required (car is back with it's owner at the moment and I forgot to grab the service number), connections look solid and the automatic loop is cut. Programming seems to have worked fine, and lock/unlock/trunk release all work perfectly. I've doubled checked that the car was not in valet mode. Upon pressing remote start (using a Fortin brand RF kit), the parking lights light up and the red and yellow lights on the unit light up. The car seems to go to accessory or ignition mode, but right when it would be at the cranking point, nothing happens. I get 4 flashes (No Tach Signal?), then it retries with the same result. The No Tach Signal seems to be the issue here, but I'm not sure why. My only thought is regarding the wiring diagram on this car. As per the instructions, there are no wires going to the canbus lo/hi, could that be a problem? Or do the tx/rx wires of the installation cover that? EDIT: Other notes: The car starts fine without the remote start, and will still not crank even with the key in the ignition.

2012 Camry PTS - Programs and reacts to remote, but won't start (EVO-ONE)

Fortin EVO-ONE, being used for OEM 3x lock functionality. Service No: 002B05 027724 Flashlink settings look okay from what I understand. So my current situation is this: Unit installed fine, programming went fine, but now won't start after 3x lock. When I press the lock or unlock on my OEM key, the Evo-one will blue-flash accordingly as I'm assuming it's intended, but after 3x lock, nothing happens at all. Also I seem to get a slow red flashing light from the unit (doesn't seem to come from the 3 leds on the front, seems closer to the yellow loop). The yellow (automatic) loop IS cut, and again it does respond to the lock/unlock on the OEM remote, it just won't start with 3x lock.
