Remote start only after key turned on after shut down

Installed the EVO-ONE SUB-1 into a 2016 Crosstrek, ths installation went pretty well. The install was done for a friend. Found out that the remote start only operates correctly if the car is driven and shut off and the key is turned back to the on position and then back off. If the key is not turned back to the on position the remote start will not function, no light flash or horn honk. I dont have the unit in front of me so I can not see the settings or have the service number from the unit

EVO-ALL and THAR-CHR6

I had purchased this unit to install on a 2013 Dodge dart with the RF kit(rf642), the unit was never installed on that vehicle due to un-forseen circumstances. Can I use the EVO-ALL unit for another vehicle either another dodge using the same T-harness or another T-harness for the specific vehicle or even another make with the right t-harness? I would hate to be sitting on a unit for a specific vehicle that I can't use. If I can use it on another vehicle how to I go about changing the information that was pre-programmed on the unit, I have the flash link updater and software?

2016 subaru crosstrek EVO-ONE with rf642 install

I am looking to install the EVO-ONE into a 2016 subaru crosstrek and was interested in adding the rf642 remotes. I can't find a vehicle specific guide for this. The rf642 guide shows all the options, are the dark gray shaded ones the default options pre-programmed or does each one need to be set. This is my first install using the EVO-ONE unit and I want to be sure I don't have to keep going back into the unit to reset options.
